Instructor Pre-qualifications

ALL NRA Instructor Courses require the candidate to have taken and passed the "Basics of {discipline}" course as a pre-requisite. The following appendices describe the additional prequalifications for each discipline.

NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer The Prequalification for this course is to be an NRA Certified Range Officer.

Basic Instructor Training (BIT) is conducted in conjunction with the instructor courses. If you are adding a discipline credential within two years of your last BIT, you may be exempt from taking for that particular course.
